Evidence‑based guidance for your pregnancy and postpartum journey.
Welcome to Nurture & Knowledge — a collective built from years of real, lived experience in obstetrics.
As an OB/GYN, I’ve watched how social media has reshaped the practice of medicine—sometimes for the better, often in ways that create confusion, fear, or misplaced confidence. Patients want to feel informed, and they deserve information that is accurate, evidence‑based, and free from agenda or bias. Too often, I’ve seen outcomes affected by poor preparation, misinformation, inattentiveness, or assumptions made on both sides of the patient–provider relationship.
I’ve also seen situations where a physician or midwife provided thoughtful, appropriate counseling, yet the patient declined essential care because of something they saw online or because of a perceived bias that wasn’t truly there. Social media isn’t going away—so instead of fighting it, I’m adding my voice to the conversation.
Nurture & Knowledge exists to offer clarity, honesty, and community. My hope is that anyone seeking reliable guidance can find it here, and that this space helps you understand whether your provider’s recommendations are reasonable or if something feels off. I want you to feel empowered to ask the right questions, understand your options, and make informed decisions about your pregnancy and postpartum journey.
This is a place for thoughtful education, grounded in evidence and delivered with compassion.
